Wow, first response? This place has really slowed down lately...

It actually wouldn't surprise me if the Raps win, or if Bargs has a good game. Posey isn't playing and we don't know how much Rondo will...

^ True. Came to a grinding halt.

Should be a fun game. It's been all Calderon all night for the Raps since Ford went down. He's not under the radar any more. Great, great, find by Colangelo. The international market is the one area Ainge has not had success in cultivating.

Hope we continue this recent offensive resurgance. Keep taking it to the hole Paul. Keep aggressive Rondo. And keep your head in the game Tony. I look forward to watching this one.

Calderon was in TOR before Colangelo if I am not mistaken. The only good move Babcock made as a GM.

I always like to win against raptors. Not because I don`t like the team but because they have the most arrogant, delusional fans.

Rondo should attack calderon on offense and expose his poor defence. We also need to move the ball on offensive end and limit Bosh as much as possible as well as their 3 point shooting.

Yeah, Babcock signed Calderon as a FA.

GL C's fans, not like you guys need it.

lol rondo is going to abuse us so hard.

Raps fans love jose, but not many point out that his defense is non existent.

I guess you didn't get the memo; Celtics fans are now considered to be the most arrogant basketball fans among any fanbase in the NBA. It's a noble banner to carry, Celtics fans, and with posts like these, I am truly confident that us Raptor fans may pass the flag of "Most arrogant and classless NBA fans" onto you, and you will let it fly free and triumphant; a true beacon of sportsfan douchbaggery! Huzzah Celtics fans! Huzzah!

That's insane... its been a bash Jose's defence themed week on the Raptors board. This week only, bash Jose's D and get a free t-shirt.

That being said I agree that Jose isn't much of a defender but his value has been underappreciated by a large segment of the Raptors board.

Actually, they've come around considerably since our last few games. A heaping helping of humple pie will do that to you.

Raptor fans, not everyone shares the same sentiments as thebirdman. Every time we have a game thread with these two teams, one person says something that snowballs and turns into a "ALL/MOST fans of Toronto/Boston are like this!" blob of text, along with a few dozen comments about how much our announcers suck (I can see the Heinsohn perspective, but Gorman ALWAYS makes a point of how much he loves Toronto; both the city and the teams). Let's call this thing a truce.

(passes peace pipe)

Hopefully we can keep it competitive the entire game and have at least somewhat of an exciting 4th. If it's anything like the last game in Boston I'm just gonna turn the channel to NO/POR.

Posey isn't playing tonight right?

As a Raptor fan, I am so sick of playing the Celtics. Please just let us win 1 against you this year.

Noone can pass the raptors fans in that category, noone.

It is interesting. Raptors are a team I would really like to root for. With Garbajosa, Calderon, Bargnani, Rasho it is a very european team...But then I go through these boards and I just can`t do it.

Anyhow, back to the game. If we come out with energy we should be ok...
