I was just wondering everyones opinion on if anything will get done.
What are all the options for the C's.
Trade for Cassell? Get Damon?
I'm sure theres other options without mentioning all the obvious ones like i just did.
Will we finally make Ray a 6th man?
I believe we have a championship team, but we do need to make some adjustments.
Will we get anything done before the trade deadline?

Magic Eight Ball
Question: Will the Celtics make a move before deadline?
Sorry, I've not nothing conclusive yet for you. I was hoping it would say, sign Cassell after he's bought out.

Thats the real question.
He's got $6.1MM owed for this season (according to hoopshype.com), which is around $3MM remaining seeing as we're at the midway point of the season. Sterling is generally clueless, but, is he so clueless as to take the PR hit of not doing the right thing for a guy who is only going to play another 1.5 seasons?
Sterling has a reputation for being cheap. But, is saving $2.5MM worth having the negative press and/or disgruntled former star on the team? I don't know where to put the odds, but this is it in a nutshell as I see it.
EDIT: He could very well be traded, however, not only would the salaries need to be close, it would have to be what LA is looking for, and again for PR reasons would almost have to be to a contender.

You guys are confusing me. If Cassell gets bought out, wouldn't it be for less than the 3something mil he is still slated to make? I mean wouldn't that be the point of it all? What are the rules? What if both sides just wanted to drop the contract could they, what about a $1 buyout? What are the exact rules about this?
