Off topic but I wonder if we could swing a Powe for Darrell Armstrong deal?

Don't wonder too much, that's a horrible deal. I'd rather keep Powe.

I'm pretty sure we could have got Boykins if we wanted him, so I wouldn't be too concerned.

Yea we defintly could have had boykins, he is a major liability on D not what we were looking for.

He should have not opt out of his contract.
He should have expected that.

Go pick him up in your fantasy leagues. I won't be. There is a reason the small guy hasn't been signed. This is the NBA now. Throw up a twenty point night and the guy he's guarding goes for fifty. He has nothing the Celts need, and I stand by that.

He's 2 feet tall, inconsistent, and can't defend anyone.

Boykins plays one on five. There is a reason no team even offered him a three million dollar year contract this past year when virtually every team needs a backup point guard. I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times: Earl Boykins pounds the ball more than any player in the NBA. Not what you want from your PG.
