Could we go after Miller/Navarro?
Considering the Grizz are having a firesale, and it didn't take much to get Gasol. I was wondering if we could grab one of those guys.
First off, we'd have to resign Kandi or (if we can) Wallace to a big one year deal (I'd rather give Wallace the money). Then we could ship Kandi/Wallace, a young player like Davis, a pick(s), and some cash for Miller or Navarro.
Think we have a shot at that?

What I am sayin is the ownership isnt going to go over the cap for Miller.
You're trying to tell me the ownership wouldn't go over the cap (which by the way, we are already over) for a guy who's averaging 17 and 7?
The same owners who agreed to pay Raef 11 million?

You told me to stop coming up with my crazy trades. Maybe you should take some of your own advice.

Yeah, I did. Your trades involved something stupid (ex: Kidd for Ray Allen and Rondo) which had no chance of happening and would (if one team wasn't getting raped) leave both teams in the same position, but with different players.
My trade has a legit shot of happening (since Mem is having a firesale) and provide both teams with what they are looking for (Memphis gets capspace, picks and prospects and Boston gets a great addition to the bench). Finally, I don't post trades every other day.

That makes the deal a lot dumber. Let's first look at it from Jersey's perspective. If the Nets were to deal Kidd they would be looking to rebuild. How would getting a 32 year old Ray Allen help them rebuild? It wouldn't. It also doesn't help that they already have Carter at the two and Jefferson at the three. They don't even have room for Ray. They get no picks in the deal, no prospects, nothing that's gonna help them. Horrible for Jersey.
Now let's see the Celtics side. Right now we are the best team in the league and Ray is a huge reason for that. He provides shooting, which is extremely important for spacing reasons, and he is incredibly clutch. He is one of our leading scorers. We already have a young, talented point who is improving every game and works great with the starting lineup. So why would we trade one of the most important reasons we are winning for an aging Kidd. Granted Kidd is a fantastic PG, but he can't shoot, frankly he can't really score. So we'd be reduced to 2 shooters on the team (House and Posey) both of whom come off the bench and we'd lose a significant scoring punch. Now Kidd does make players around him better, but we don't really need that at this point, how much better is he going to make KG or Paul? Boston passes.
So basically this trade doesn't work for either team. Nice job.
Kandi for Miller WOW!!!
The trade isn't Kandi for Miller, but I guess I shouldn't expect you to be able to read. The trade is (follow closely):
A young prospect (such as Davis)
A pick (or multiple)
A sign and trade of either Kandi or Brandon Wallace to make salaries match.
for
Miller or Navarro.
This is how a real trade works. Both teams get things they need.
STUPID!
Honestly, you of all people should never call someone stupid.
