Big Baby for Navarro? Mem has like 5 pgs and not many options at the 4 spot. Ainge was interested in Navarro this summer(I think) and would be a solid backup for, esp with Cassell coming out as being "misquoted" for hi buy out with LA.

Anywayz, I think Memphis could bite on BigBaby/Navarro trade.

We don't need Navarro, he just duplicates House.

Kyle Lowry is the PG the Celtics should be trying to get from the Grizzlies.

we need Baby more than we need another shooter.

Lowry would be great but get real, they're not trading him.

With Lowry/Crittenton/Conley, one is going to have to be traded in some deal they make. We can't give up a big though. Pruitt for Lowry if it works maybe.

Uhhh... not to be a jerk, but how is trading a point guard for another point guard gonna help clear up their PG problem?

I think Navarro is a much better fit for the C's than Lowry. Navarro is bigger and is a better shooter, both are nice players but JCN is a better fit.

But Cassell is my 1st choice but if we cant get him I'd love to see Juan Carlos Navarro as our backup.

Here it is, this is a good deal for both teams.

To Boston: Casey Jacobsen, Juan Carlos Navarro, Darko Milicic

To the team that was moved from Vancouver because they have no fans: Gabe Pruitt, Kendrick Perkins, Tony Allen, Eddie House

The Grizzlies are dumping, and are not going to build around Darko and JCN. Memphis can save money here, they have Perkins and three ending contracts. The Celtics can send over some $$$ for their greedy owner to make the deal happen.

The Celtics get Navarro who can shoot and play the point guard spot, they get Darko who has real center size, and Casey Jacobsen is a good person on the bench too.

Perkins is not big enough to defend the best centers in the playoffs, Darko is the great Darko who has already won a championship.

A Darko-Big Baby team could not be defeated. Big Baby!

perk isnt the greatest but Darko isnt leaps and bounds ahead of him! If we move Perk the only suitable, attainable person I would taregt would be Jeff Foster from Indy. I think he is good vet that knows his role. Not to mention Darko is expensive and not worth Tony imo.

My feeling is any deal is a bad deal for the Celtics. Let's leave well enough alone...

Navarro isn't the answer at the point and while I like Lowry he is short and inexperienced, neither things that Doc is going to like going down the stretch.

This team has Pruitt long term the issue is for this season.

I too feel that this team is thinking long term with Pruitt. I think they see some real potential in the kid. They would be playing him trying to get the most the could for him if they didnt want to keep him. I think they are bringing him along slowly letting him learn the pg position. This kid got serious skills.

that darko deal wasn't terrible

Speaking of guys I expected to surface about this time of year, were the hell is Bob Sura, he would actually fit the bill pretty well. He can handle the ball, play some point has a some size. Must be finished.

I'm just saying the Celts aren't making any deal. Nothing makes sense. In fact the Celtics will make all of zero trades before the deadline. Jerk. 8)
