OT: For Laker Fans

I've heard all the whining and complaining from Laker fans and the rest of the league how Ainge was basically able to pull the KG deal because of his friendship with McHale. Now, what about the ridiculous deal that the Lakers pulled on Memphis? I know Pop in San Antonio said something, and seriously does a trade really count when you're dealing with a moron like Chris Wallace? There should be rules against that like if you pulled the wool over the eyes of Isaiah Thomas.

God no....
Then we would have to give back Bill Russell, Paul Silas, Robert Parish, Kevin McHale, and Dennis Johnson.
Let the buyer beware.

I think David Stern made this deal happen. Even Chris Wallace isn't this stupid. He must have put a gun to his head.

And the point of this is what?

I hate the Popovich quote, because what can Wallace do? He can't come out and trash his former player, but obviously he thought he was more of a negative than a positive at this point and that cap space and picks were a good haul for him...
Plus, look at our deal-sure KG has turned us into an instant contender, but is there anyone you would rather build around than Big Al alongside Corey Brewer?

Pop's quote surprised me. Usually you don't see GMs calling each other out. Yikes. Not that I disagreed with him tho.
It's one thing to trade your superstar and get back a guaranteed 20-10 guy who's arguably the best low post scorer in the game. It's another thing to get back cap space and a 3rd string PG. I'm still in shock over the Gasol deal.

I don't give him props. Get off your ass and make a trade. He's just jealous he missed out on that opportunity, and is now covering up for his lack of effort.
