Just like to know if there's deadline for buyouts?
The reason I'm asking is Cassell.... when is he ever gonna get a buyout?
We need a backup point guard....obviously.

There is no deadline for a buyout. However, if a player gets waived after March 1, he isn't eligible for the playoffs. Which means that if the Clippers decide to buy him out, it will be before March 1. Probably a week after the trade deadline (if he isn't traded by then).
If everything goes right, I expect to see Sam in a Celtics jersey on February 27 against Cleveland. And everything points to Cassell being bought out shortly after the trade deadline.
