Doc Rivers gave an update on the latest of the injured Celtics and it's a good news/bad news thing. Brian Scalabrine, who strained his right groin against the Knicks Wednesday, is the bad news part. "I think Scal is going to be out for a while," Rivers said. "We don't know how long. Groin pulls are tough." The good news was for Glen Davis, who strained his left quad in the same game and also has a knee bruise. "Baby's fine," Rivers said of Davis. "He should be back at practice [tomorrow] and playing Tuesday."

That's actually two good news. Baby has become a real contributor and Scal just kills us. But how about KG, Pollard and Perk?

Doc said he saved Pollard for the last game against New York and didn't want Powe to get into foul trouble, so that Pollard wouldn't be subbed in. I think Pollard is ready to go.

KG will go through a full workout today which determines whether he'll be able to practice on Monday in Denver, and play on Tuesday.

Perk and Doc both said that he will be ready for the Denver game.

So all in all, we're healthy again.

In one of the videos on Boston.com, Doc says that he plans on using Scot Pollard on the West Coast trip.

Yesss! I really like Samurai Scot! He really thrives in our system.

Linton Johnson lacks size but could play Scal's role easily (if not better), and provide insurance @ SF. We'd have to scoop him up before Phoenix might

Haha indeed, addition by subtraction...

..I would never wish an injury on any player... but since he's already been injured I think its okay to wish for a very slow recovery.

Too bad most coaches don't let you lose your spot in the rotation due to injury, it'd be nice to see Scal squeezed out of the rotation and never come back in. (Now I really feel like a dick, sorry scal, its just that you suck sooo much, its frusterating and I've had enough at this point)
