Ray get snub over coaches picks then Stern selects Ray to play over an injured player.... then plays his best All-star game scoring 28 points and AGAIN got snub by fan voting for MVP.

Wow... Ray has really gone through a lot this season.

He deserve this. :nonono:

Amen! And to think... some people on this board wish we still had Wally/West/Green! (although I do miss west)

Yeah, I was hoping Ray Ray would get the MVP, but all the King's men outnumbered us.

Anyone else think Ray was pissed he wasn't asked to be in the 3-Point Shoot-Out?

If the c's win a banner this year, then no one will remember that James won AS Mvp.

LBJ deserved to be the All-Star MVP guys. the most rayray could get is a co-MVP with bron. But with regards to how he played in the All-star game, this just shows how valuable ray can be for us in the clutch and come playoff time. He's already shown a lot of signs this season.

The positive to take out of this is that with the lights on, Allen showed up.

So if it comes down to game 7 with a Detroit or a SA or some team like that, I feel good that he can just rely on his shot to get us through.

It sucked for Ray. He deserved to be in the All-star game from the get go and also win the MVP for his performance. Oh well, he'll retaliate back in the playoffs and finals.

I know there's two threads on this topic, but I like Phoolishly's title better so I'll post here.

:D

Bron deserved the MVP, his line was an almost triple-double. Ray held off the West, and so his name deserved to be mentioned in the running for the award -- which it was -- but after that dunk over Dirk to seal the game, you HAD to know that LBJ was going to come away with the crown.

Cool though that the C's gave a good showing. Too bad about KG not playing, but I think we'll be counting our blessings the second half after this rest he's had. Dude's gonna wanna murder beaches.

Back to Ray, he sure does step it up when the game's on the line. Two of those three's he hit were a full step back from the three-point line, that's almost a half-court shot! At the end of the games I want the ball in his hands.
