Absolutely. When paired with Ray Allen, that will be $22,190,653 in expiring contracts. At that point, we'll be able to offer expiring contracts, plus picks, plus whatever young talent for basically any star player in the NBA. If Miami is losing you don't see them willing to do that type of deal for DWade? By itself Scal's contract isn't worth much but the fact that he and Ray's contract expires at the same time, that's huge.

Any and All expiring contacts are 'worth something' on the trade market. Just look at Sheed... or Pau... or... Cassel.
