Celtics @ Warriors Gamethread - Wednesday, February 20th

Post#1 » by SuperDeluxe » Thu Feb 21, 2008 1:26 am

westthebest is having internet access issues, so this crappy gamethread is all we're getting for tonight's game, I guess.

May the Celtics win (ideally kicking some asses in the way).

I'll be staying up to watch, hope its not all for nothing like last night.

Although i did enjoy watching the game.

Hopefully KG has more mobility tonight, he looked like he was holding back last night. LETS GO CELTS beat those warriors.

Hopefully Rondo can keep B.Davis under control, he is an elite point guard, this is a big test to see where rondo is at.

Hopefully he plays better, not more. If he sucks like he did last night, I don't want him to play more minutes.

We have a great chance at a win tonight---as long as we have a different ref crew than last night!

 me too, but we have to let him play so that he can get his rythm back. KG isn't someone I'm going to worry about as long as he is healthy enough to play.

Sorry, greenbeans, I'm not sure I have enough time to create a different thread for every game. (Seriously, with WTB doing "his thang" we are 41-10. If it's not broken, don't fix it. Besides, WTB's are the most kick-ass gamethreads this side of Saturn.)

Just like the Nuggets, the Warriors will likely want to avenge the shameful defeat against the Celtics at the Garden at the beginning of the season. Tonight's game will be anything but a walk in the park.

I miss WTB and his graphics. I like the matchup tonight. This is one of the few games where going small doesn't hurt us. Somehow, I don't expect we'll see Garnett get that many more mins tonight.

Huge test for Rondo tonight. It'll be interesting to see how he matches up with B-Diddy on both sides of the ball.

I would think that Rondo will probably match-up with Monta Ellis mostly and Allen will probably take Davis.

We need to win this one, because Detroit just lost to Milwaukee. And this is a pretty late game, it starts when our games usually end.
