I don`t think he got clearance from the league yet. And if/when he does, the hornets have 30 days to sign him before any other team can...

If Andersen's application is granted, the Hornets would then have a 30-day exclusive window to tender him a contract for the remainder of the season. Sources have told ESPN.com that the Hornets are indeed quite interested in bringing Andersen back to a roster short on front-court depth.

Should the Hornets decline to sign him, Andersen would become an unrestricted free agent and could sign with any team.

Some day before they lock me up for good I am going to count the number of friggin Chris "Birdman" Anderson threads there have been on the Celtics RealGM Board. Under and over at 50.

I saw him at the Nugs Celts game on Tuesday and he looked to be in shape and most importantly, clean. I really wouldn't mind a big man w/ his athleticism on this team.

p.s. For those who are wondering, I am going to get those pictures up, but a little later than expected.
