We need a real backup center if we play the magic or spurs in the playoffs, Magloire is not coming in to start he is coming in to fill a role

I'm highly in favor of this move. He brings size and bulk. Exactly what we need.

I wish they would've waived Diop instead

diop is too young and with too much potential to get traded. i hope DA can snag him this is the quality big man everyone was talking about. nothing amazing but SOLID

I wish they would have waived Ricardo Taversbury instead.

I think he'd be ok to fill some minutes at the backup C position. Probably as good as you will get.

I'd rather have Justin Williams, Magloire is toast.

magloire is ok but not great. the problem is he went from being an underpaid overachiever to an overpaid underachiever once he hit the all star season, but before that he was rather impressive for a back up. wasnt he averaging like 2.6 points per shot for two or three years? i think so

He'd be an okay pickup if all you want is a big body, sort of a second Pollard.

he is just healthier and we can't take a chance on pollard health when the playoffs are here.

He is what we are looking for. He and Cassell are good enough to help us win the championship.

He would be perfect for us. Besides Pollard is always hurt. I am sure that after his experience in NJ he will want to prove his worth.

Not to beat a dead horse but, if you look at career stats vs Perk:
Magloire has better stats in PPG 8.7 vs 4.6, Rebounds 7.3 vs 4.8.

This is not to say I want him instead of Perk, but I would like to see the both of them on the C'c.
