At least, that would be the rotation I'd like to see vs. teams with post scorers and slashers. Detroit might be a different matter.

Don't think giving one of the best two shooters on the team zero minutes is the greatest idea. And Powe has been outplaying Davis recently, Davis carries on to much when he makes mistakes or gets called for fouls. Powe just gets it done without any fuss. That is a pretty good quality in a playoff series I think.

Tony should get more minutes, probably 3 of Ray's and 3 of PP's. I also say no to Posey at PF and Garnett at C. Baby should get the remaining minutes at C, and the rest of the big man minutes should go to Powe.

The second unit could actually be a team in the NBA, that's how deep the C's would be if you guys signed Mags and Sam.

I say give TA minutes at PG. He's done a credible job in the past. He's a good guy to muscle up on smaller players any way.

Powe should definitely get more minutes over Davis. I love them both, but Leon has proven to be the more talented player. No one's earned PT on this team more than Leon. He went from the bottom of the chart, found an opening due to teammate injuries, and then ran with it. He seems to drop 16 and 8 every time he gets minutes. Three words: Free Leon Powe.

Cassell would be great, but I don't think you can relegate House to the bench that easily. House has carried our second unit offense many times.

KG will play 40+ minutes per game in the playoffs. That may be part of the reason that DA is not super-concerned about finding another big. It is DEFINITELY one of the reasons that his minutes have been limited in the regular season. If Tony keeps rounding into form, then I'd be more inclined to keep Ray and Paul at 38 minutes or less in the playoffs (keep the legs fresh), since the drop off is much less noticeable...

If Powe or Davis can defend Shaq or Bynum or Ilgauskas or even Dampier, great.

If not, Magloire could have a big role to play.

If it's Kurt Thomas -- yeah, Powe or Davis over Magloire is the first thought. And I'm not sure what shotblockers can do against the Spurs' guards if the big men are scoring threats away from the hoop.

Um Powe and particularly House will get minutes no matter what...

And let's be honest, Shaq will be on limited minutes the rest of his career. Bynum is not all there yet. The only legitimate threat in the playoff is Z . . . who is injury prone.

Quite frankly, if Perkins/Baby/Powe can't stop them, I don't see how in the hell Magloire will.

Magloire is no softy I live in Kentucky however I hated Tubby smith teams and Magloire was a beast for Tubby, Magloire I think needs a team that can play in the half court set as well as run a little.

He definatly could fit in the Boston picture and he might just be the frame that the Celtics need.

However you can't have to many bigs in the finals and if we must meet Shaq it would be nice to have a extra big to foul him.

Perkins tonight managed to rack up 4 fouls in under 13 minutes.

Many centers have a lot of foul-heavy nights.

That's one reason you need depth at center.

What are you living in 2002? There is no way Cassell is playing 24 minutes (same as Rondo) and Powe, House and Pollard are not playing at all.

i agree with the rotation except that i would want more minutes for tony and distribute minutes between big baby and powe too.
