Assuming we do get Cassell....

That takes our roster to 15 doesn't is? So who joins Pruitt on the inactive list when we need to set our playoff roster to 12?

Starters:

Rondo
Allen
Perkins
Pierce
Garnett

First line:

Cassell
Posey

Second line:

House and TA cover Ray Ray
Davis and Powe split time based on their play and matchups behind Garnett
PJ Brown covers Perkins

That would probably be what I would like to see which means Pollard and Scalabrine are the odd ones out. Unfortunately I have a feeling Scalabrine might be in there somehow. And who knows what will happen with Brown. But I would much happier seeing him get back up centre minutes that Pollard.

Of course injuries could make the decisions for us.

Thoughts?

Isnt the Playoff Roster at 13 now with one has to be inactive during the games.

Well that would make it easier. Pollard and Pruitt would be the obvious choices then but Scal can be the inactive player.

Were no longer missing anything...we have back point and we have another big. Assuming we get Cassell.....this is the year. If it doesn't happen, it wasn't meant to be. Ainge did everything he could...

I think Scalabrine and Pollard will be pushed to the inactive list, and Big Baby and Powe will both lose some minutes to PJ Brown.

+1 Doc does seem to like Scal though so who knows.

He was playing Scal a fair amount near the beginning of the season, but things changed significantly over the past few months; now Baby and Powe have been getting more minutes.

The NBA changed this rule again last year. The playoff roster is now 15, with 12 players active each game, just like in the regular season.

The Playoffs overall just needs to be adjusted.

i think pollard and pruitt will be out. scal is a nice insurance guy because he has the ability to play multiple forward positions for inusrance.

TNT just said that Cassell will sign with Boston. You guys finally found up your backup PG.

It'll probably be Davis, Pruitt and Pollard. But you never know in the NBA

I think Pruitt, Pollard and Scal are the most logical to not play in the playoffs. Pruitt is a rookie, Pollard is hurt and Scal is the worst player on the team.

I'm with cisco all the way, Scals without the shooting touch is pretty much a nonfactor.

It better not be Scal.

Should be Pollard instead of Scal. He adds nothing that Scal doesn't add, except a goofy hairdo.

2 out of the following 3: Pollard, Pruitt, Scal. If Pollard is healthy he's on the playoff roster, if not then it's scal ( assuming no other injuries between now and the playoffs)
