Is this the definition of a trap game?

No. I want a win by at least 30. I can't remember the last time we actually had one. Also when are Sam and PJ going to debut?

We can't take Atlanta lightly. For some reason the solid young teams always play well against us.

I like this ATL team. They seem now like a solid 6-8th seed material. Nothing spectacular but all the elements are there.
I don't think we'll need another center in this game so Brown probuly will just be on the bench tonight. I heard last game though that they were hoping for him to be in uniform by this game.

I think this might be a good game to get P.J in there. So that way he can have at least a little PT with this team before Wednesday.
On the flip side, if he doesn't play this game, I don't think he should play Wednesday.

I say we win by 10+.

This is the exact same way I think. We must get him ready for Detroit.

Is PJ even in game shape? It took shaq 2 weeks to get ready for the Suns and he is younger and had played games already in 2008.

why is kg's name in green and not the others? same with josh smith in red.
IIRC Atlanta isn't a great scoring team, but there best quality is their athleticism. thats what did the suns in last night against the sixers. just a bunch of young guys running the floor and dunking.

Let's hope the C's aren't looking ahead to the Detroit game...Young athletic teams like Atlanta/Washington/Char- give us headaches.

I'm guessing its because they are a key matchup.
Doc hopefully will do better substitutions in this game then he did in the last one. I hate small ball lineups.

i really like this hawks team. they have all the elements it takes to become an up & coming winner. the bibby move is underrated, but its takin time for them to gel. atlanta has to be the most athletic team. they have a bright future, first time in a long time u could say that about them.
i think today's game will be a tough one. lets hope the guys dont overlook atlanta since they got detroit coming up.

The Bibby move was fantastic for ATL and looking at their schedule for the rest of the year (ridiculously easy) they should end up at least 41-41. This team is better than people think.

Atlanta is no garunteed win anymore. They have a very athletic lineup and they are always tough.

Bibby is a good player but it hogties them financially. And Josh Smith + Childress are going to be free agents this summer.
I don't know if they'll be able to re-sing J-smooth and avoid the luxury tax.
J-Smooth= 22yr old PF putting up 17ppg 8rpg 3.5 aspg 1.8stl 3blcks
Pretty jaw-droping numbers on such a younging and worth at least 10 mil per year with potential figured into it. Then you have a team like CLE who has exprings of Wally + Snow and you can see how he could be a sign and trade bait.
So while ATL looks nice now, it's probuly just a year before cheap owners hit the reset button.

Brown won't play tonight.
http://www.nba.com/celtics/news/blog/post-ups.html
P.J. Brown says he's ready to go, but Doc Rivers continues to say he's in "no rush" to play Brown, and the veteran big man will not be dressed for tonight's contest.
