Oh the Pistons? We're facing them next. I was unaware

Yeah being a great game to watch is probuly what I'm most excited about. Were not going to have Cassell.. probuly not going to use PJ yet. And they won't have Ratliff who could really give them a great 15 minute boost on the court. So neither team will be much diffrent before were we kinda just played even overall.

But the most important thing is if both of the teams are on we get to see a rare display of skill. I think both games were killer in execution, really just great stuff back and forth.

Hopefully Pierce has a great game. Past 3 or 4 games he's been off from his usually self missing stuff he shouldn't be. He's a real key against teh Pistons and it just seems right after all he's done to be a pivotal aspect to leading the Celts beyond ECF someday.

No matter what happens I'm fine with it, can't predecit the playoffs with the regular season but the last two times we've meet both teams have been pretty even and we've got enough imporoved depth with T.Allen/Cassell/PJ to keep it that way.

Big Baby is on March Madness! Let's let him kill the Piss-tons.

BTW, WestTheBest, you forgot Tony Allen on the bench. He played against Atlanta already.

IMO, this is the regular season game of the year. I was at the last Detroit game and the atmosphere in the building was crazy. My buddies who I have seasons with are going tonight so I'll be watching this from the comfort of my couch. I can't wait. I'm calling a Ray Allen buzzer beater.

Anyone know if these Pistons guys are any good?

I saw that they had a nail-biter versus Seattle last night. Maybe they'll be tired and we can pounce on them right out of the gate. We need to get the ball to Ray, he's had a good rest and should be silky smooth shooting the 3.

Rondo can whip by Billups and get in the paint for easy layups, KG should keep sheed away from the hoop so that he won't get blocked.

In the Prince vs Pierce matchup, I never know which way this is going to go. They both seem to be up and down against one another.

I expect Perk to continue his streak of good games tonight and for Powe and BBD to play important roles.

Tony didn't look recovered from his injury last game, I guess we'll see if he's better now.

Is Cassell going to be on the bench for us tonight? I know they mentioned that he wouldn't be playing, but I'm interested to see if he'll be on the sidelines in street clothes supporting the team.

I think I'm going to stay up for this game (tip-off is 2.30 AM), should be well worth it and easily exciting enough to keep me awake 'til 5 in the morning or so.

We can clinch a playoff berth with a win tonight.

Thanks rocdogg. It's funny how both the Boston and Detroit fan bases don't want to play the Cavs in the 2nd round. You guys have every reason to feel this way as Lebron took it to another level last year against you guys but the C's have played pretty well against the Cav's this year. I think there is a very good chance that Cleveland can overcome the Magic and take down that 3rd spot in the East. It would certainly suck for you guys if you got the 2nd spot and had to play Cleveland in the 2nd round.

With all that said. I'd still want my team to win tonight if I was a Detroit fan. Nobody wants to lose a big game even if it's just the regular season. Anyone who tells you this isn't a big game is either a liar or doesn't know the NBA all that well.

Can't wait to watch this game, too bad Sammy isn't playing, I would love to see him and KG laughing it up like old times.

Even if we lose we could "clinch" a birth anyway.

All we need is a loss by Atlanta (tough game against NO), loss by Indiana (against Houston) and loss by New Jersey (playing in Memphis).

I can't remember the last time anyone had a chance to secure a playoff birth this early in the season. Crazy.

Honestly probably more a testament to the sorry state of the Eastern Conference than our season.

This is not correct. We have 24 games left, with 12 losses. If we win tonight, we can have 35 losses in the season, and both New Jersey and Atlanta only have 34 losses so far. We must either win 3 more games if Atlanta and New Jersey keep winning all of their games, or we must win two more games if New Jersey and Atlanta lose once.
