wait is that a good team I see? Holy ****, the Celtics are going to play a good team again.

I wonder how we'll match up defensively with these guys. Boozer moves around a lot and is automatic from mid range so I don't know if we want to stick Perk on him.. Booz may be just too mobile for him.

But if we put KG on Boozer that may lead to early fouls, and Perk on Okur means Perk will be playing on the perimeter defensively and that takes away from the point of even having Perk on the floor. Hopefully Perk will be able to make up for it with some offensive rebounds, or maybe he'll play Boozer well and not pick up some fouls on those rotations.

Then you come to Deron whoes much stronger then Rondo and Cassell.

Pierce has demolished Prince's offense when we face DET, AK-47 is another long player that is like a rich man's Prince. It will be intresting to see how Pierce does defensively. Pierce should be able to concentrate hard enough to get to the line against AK47 when needed.

Brewer will be an intresting matchup, he can create against Allen but with Deron on the floor he shouldn't really have an opportunity to do so.

It seems like the team that makes the fewest turnovers should win. I really don't know how the matchups are going to end up playing themselfs out. Finally though a real game, this should be fun.

I wouldn't worry about the Pierce/Kirilenko matchup too much. Remember when Pierce made him cry a couple years back?

The big problem is going to be controlling Deron Williams.

And Boozer.

Tough game, can go either way.

The Jazz are a bad team on the road. It's like 91% at home, but like 40-45% on the road, a big part to do with their youth (3rd or 4th youngest team in the league) + they don't show up on the road when they play bad teams. The Jazz will certainly show up., but it's certainly going to be tough given that the Celtics took one from the Jazz at Utah. Can't wait though, it's an important game for both teams. :-)

right now, games for us aren't as important as making sure we limit mins and stay fresh for playoffs

Should be a win.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think we'll rock the St. Patrick's jerseys tonight, because our next home game is March 24, one week after the celebration, and we have to wear it at least once at home (we did it twice last year).

I believe we clinch the Atlantic with a win tonight. 19 games left, 18 games ahead of Raps in the loss column and we hold the tie breaker after winning the season series 3-1.

Utah's got a solid team, but I think that the C's will take it. Celtics have been playing too good lately to be beat by the Jazz, especially at home in the Garden.

Wait another week before unleashing that statement Darth. If the Celtics somehow lose 7 out of 10 then homecourt in the East isn't even guaranteed!

I don't think they will go into a funk, but it is critically important that the C's stay hot to at least win the Utah and MIL games so they have some room to work with going in to Texas and NO (plus Phoenix and NO back at home).

Win, Win, at least split the next 8 games and the regular season can then wind down in a nice calm fashion...

If you're saying I should put it in the gamethread... not possible, KG and Ray Allen have never worn them.

I'm going to be purchasing the KG St. Paddy's day jersey when I go to the game tonight. I can't wait to see Deron play. I think the C's win this one pretty convincingly. The Jazz are horrible on the road this year. The Garden's going to rockin

I expect a win, Utah is a bad team on the road and recently just lost to the Bulls of all teams.

Utah shows up against good teams, and fails miserably against bad teams.

9-8 on the road against contenders, 6-12 on the road against lottery teams.

Us Jazz fans don't even know what to expect, but if our ESA game would be played again today, I would expect a loss by the C's.

As much of a Jazz fan as I am, I fully expect a loss tonight on the Jazz's side. We really aren't very good on the road, and I simply think that you guys are gonna tear us apart. I could be wrong, but whatever.

I knew it! We'll be rocking my favorite St. Patty's jerseys tonight!

The Celtics will be wearing their alternate, St. Patrick's Day themed jerseys tonight against Utah
