Tony Allen is such an idiot. Why is he trying to show up Utah in a game where they are losing at home? All that windmill dunk does it make the other team want to beat you that much more. A mediocre reserve out there showboating. Did he forget he was wearing that big, clunky kneebrace when he went up for that dunk? Did he forget that he originally hurt his knee while showboating?

I can not wait for the day when Tony Allen is no longer a member of the Boston Celtics. He doesn't deserve to be on this team and his poor decision making will continue to be a detriment to the team until he is gone. Thank god Posey is here to limit Allen's minutes to 18 per game. Hopefully the addition of Cassell further cuts into the amount of time we have to watch Tony Allen.

The interesting thing is that Rondo did the MC Hammer typewriter dance before he gave the ball up.... how was that not called a travel?

This has got to be one of the stupidest posts I've ever read on this board. I'm sorry, are the Celtics supposed to be afraid of the other team and get down on their knees? Gimme a break. Oh no, the Jazz are pissed off. The Celtics have the talent to beat anyone in the league, no matter how "mad" the other team is playing or how hard they're trying. If the Celtics really cared about making the opposition like them, I seriously doubt KG would talk smack to them all game. They have confidence in their ability to beat anyone at any time.

This is a game. It's entertainment. And Tony entertained the fans on that play and got the basket. Give it a rest and stop whining like a little girl just because the team lost a game.

From the looks of this you must not have even watched the game, it was Tony and Perks defense that got us back in the game in the 3rd quarter. Right after that dunk the crowd got jacked and the Celtics made their run, TA is great at bringing energy on both sides of the ball and thats what he did that quarter. Calling him a "mediocre reserve" is an extremely dumb statement, whenever he has been healthy over his entire career he has been a key player for us you just have a seemingly short memory.

Anyways, doing a nice dunk is hardly showing anybody up when your down, if they were up 50 itd be a different story but they werent. It entertains the crowd and got the Celts whole bench up so theyd disagree with you too.

I don't know if it is possible for you to be more wrong. You think it was a good idea for Posey to play instead of TA? Last night Posey had the worst plus/minus of anyone on the team, -20. Tony allen on the other hand, had the BEST plus/minus on the team, with a +2, the only member of the celtics with a positive plus/minus. Tony made some stupid plays, where he passed the ball out of a wide open layup, but his effect on the game was positive. If Tony had played more in the Utah game, we might have actually had a chance towards the end.

For anyone at the game, you would know the place wasn't ever louder than after that dunk.

What about Korver's three when the Jazz had the game in the bag? That wasn't showing up the other team?

This isn't sixth grade rec, feelings don't get hurt.

Funniest thing about that dunk is that it should not have even counted.

He totally traveled. He shuffled his feet, then took 2 more steps.

A travel.
