Spurs tried to trade up to get Rondo?

Post#1 » by The Rondo Show » Tue Mar 18, 2008 12:40 pm

The Celtics stirred themselves soon enough. Rajon Rondo, whom the Spurs had unsuccessfully tried to trade up and get in the 2006 draft, scored 20 points and created havoc in San Antonio

Of course they'll be there... what a stupid prediction.

As if they'll forfeit the game

But if the Celtics do forfeit the game, Sam is going to look like a total fool.

these predictions are nothing new for sammy. he's known around the league for betting on whether or not games that are scheduled will actually take place.

he lost a lot of money last year when he claimed that the 2007 championship series would be cancelled due to lack of interest.

he did, however, clean up in 1999 when he predicted the end of the lockout.

it's a rollercoaster, sometimes you're hot and sometimes you're not.

All Sam is saying is that they aren't going to lie down for HOU. What is so hard to understand about that? Do you people really not understand that? Just feel the need to tell redundant bad jokes?
