I could not believe the lack of respect last night
This is one of the best defensive teams in the history of the NBA, has held down the best record all year and is currently tearing up the Texas triangle like a f5 tornado without one of their best players.
Where is the love?
Don't bring your one trick pony swingman team to the game it won't work. Mr James, Mr Bryant, Mr. Mcgrady, meet misters Pierce Allen and Posey, they will be taking your lunch money today. You may resume your stats padding tomorrow.
And Mr. Collins, You may not have heard of him but Leon is part of that lack of depth in Boston that several national media members thinking the celtics won't make it out of the second round.
until last night I had HOPE
now for the first time since 1987 I BELIEVE
enjoy the ride kiddos

I don't really care if we are getting stoked by the media or not it should be clear who the best team in the league currently is or who is the favorite to win a title this year. This team has compiled an impressive resume; best defensive team, four winning streaks of at least 8 game, 22-4 against the west, only 3 loses against western playoff teams, Currently 5-0 against Texas teams, ect.

The national media apparently has paid no attention to the Celtics. The numberous comments of "the unexpected production of Leon Powe," and "found money" really ticked me off. Leon Powe has done great whenever he plays. the guy's PER is 20.57!

Don't worry, we are one loss away from not being #1 in the Power Rankings next week again. They're just picking on us. Even if we win against New Orleans and Dallas, they'll have a hard time not to put Houston or Detroit on top of the list.

not sure going down by 22 and winning by 2 in SA is exactly tearing it up.

Yeah...if Horry hits that 3---we're like 4-5 in Power rankings.

Not that I care about the power rankings but we're 54-13 with the best margin of victory in the league. I'd say we're tearing it up.

Those power rankings don't mean a thing. They are pretty ridiculous all over the place. Does anyone really believe that The Spurs are the 10th best team in the league? The Suns 11th best, followed closely by the Sixers? Etc. etc. It's just more BS by Hollinger. He's a stat man who gets his own podium with ESPN - that's all. Coaches and players don't take this seriously and neither should we.

If we beat Dallas and NO this week every media source will have us #1. After all, that'd be a heck of a week.
But really, power polls don't matter, except the one at the end of the postseason.
