some people are so shortsighted

that's really one thing i hate about the new england area, especially in the sports environment, no one has patience anymore

and while I'm on the soapbox, what happened to individual accountability, or society has just throw accountability out the window, very few people can man up and admit when they were wrong and when something is their fault

Some fans need to blame someone for their teams losing. I can't blame them though. We've had some tough years.

Maybe we should have kept Chris Wallace around

Never understood the Ainge hate, well other than the fact I knew how short sighted fans were, I never once wanted him 'fired' since he's come in. And besides, I would have rather have watched young talent play, than Antoine Walker and Paul Pierce get wasted in the playoffs on a year to year basis. Now look what Danny's done, foolish website, that fan probably is saying DA for Executive of the Year now.

Looking at the heading I thought for sure it was going to be that one called "Can Danny". Remember, "Danny can't, so Can Danny"?

There's much revisionist history these days among the former Danny bashers.

I never doubted Ainge, but I can see why people wanted him gone especially after we traded for Telfair and lost out on Roy or Foye. I think Danny got real lucky having KG and Ray available at the same time, the smart thing was having all of the talent to unload.

I think that had more to do with the just-completed Eric Williams/Battie for Ricky Davis trade (IIRC it had just been completed around this time).

Either way, Danny said all along he wasn't done, in spite of the constant scrutiny involving every single deal he made. That's the problem: everyone wanted to judge him at each individual stop instead of waiting the whole ride through.

And LMAO at having both Kandi and Blount on that list of reasons to fire Danny. Seriously, Kandi at #1? It wasn't like he was an albatross or anything, and you can't get rid of Blount without picking up Kandi in the original deal.

Soul Honky is actually a pretty good guy. Plus, he retracted his Danny hate, and is actually pretty pumped about the team this year.

Trading Brandon Roy

That was not smart. If Roy was on the current team, the Celtics win the title.

If Roy had been on last year's team, we either 1) don't have KG, or 2) trade him to Minnesota for KG.

That deal was never simply about Roy-for-Telfair. The Ratliff contract was huge. The Twolves may have taken Raef's deal, but surely they would have required more talent going back to them, meaning Roy would have likely been on his way out of town.

When was the website created? They must have put it up during that window between the 2007 draft (#16 Trading Jeff Green (Same mistake as last year? For real?) ) and acquiring KG. Or do they not like KG either?

Someone want to explain #17 to me. How can #17 be see #15 and #16?

Ricky Davis for Tony Battie was a steal, not as good as Battie for Gooden, but still very good.

Explain #13 Trading Antoine again - how can doing a sign and trade with a player you don't want bad. I'm not sure if we have anything to show for that trade (rights to Alberto Morallis?) but it didn't cost us anything.
