Benny the Bull vs KG?
I don't know if anyone heard about this, I don't remember then mentioning it during the game last night...but on the radio today they said that during last night's game, Benny the Bull shot KG and Posey in the back with the t-shirt cannon and apparently KG got pretty mad and got up in Benny's face about it. Anyone else hear about this?

CHICAGO - Even the mascots are getting tough.
Last night, in the process of the Celtics [team stats] completing a series sweep of the Chicago Bulls for the first time since 1986-87, Kevin Garnett and James Posey engaged in some late-game trash talking with Benny the Bull.

It seems harmless but that really is some bull **** right there no pun intended. The mascot should never fire one of those t-shirt guns at any player let alone an opposing player after his team just got smoked. The league is definitely going to look into this and I'm sure he will be suspended. Lucky would never do something bush league like this. Not cool at all.

Seriously, I'm sure this will be dealt with and the crazy psycho Bull will face consequences but I have a hard time not finding this very funny.
Maybe you should keep your jokes on the Chicago board. I'm sure no one else on the C's board thinks its funny.

You don't think someone dressed in a bright red mascot uniform unleashing a barrage of T-shirts in a fit of bovine confusion has the slightest potential for humor?
Tell Marc Spears. "Benny the Bull was not available for comment."

I'm sorry. You're absolutely right. I don't know what I was thinking. I apologize profusely to everyone on the internet.
Remember though: T-shirt guns don't kill people. Biped Bulls with T-shirt guns kill people.
If I hadn't completey changed my opinion of this unfortunate and potentially tragic incident, I believe I could go on all day making jokes about it. Fortunately this will not happen as I have repented and learned a better way.
Henceforth I shall never again find humor in anyone who besmirches the noble code of the Mascot Guild.

The Benny encounter brings to mind an incident four years ago when Ricky Davis returned to Cleveland for the first time in a Celtics uniform and witnessed the sight of Moondog, the Cavaliers mascot, mopping the floor with a replica of his old Cleveland jersey. Moondog later was suspended for the act.
Haha! I actually laughed out loud about the part of Moon Dog being suspended, like he's a player or something. Was I the only one to find that so funny?

He'd have to wait, the current Lucky still has to serve out his full punishment by wearing it a few more years.
...isn't being courtside for every Bulls game this season punishment enough? Can't he get off with time served? Must our prisons be continually overcrowded with Mascots who are no longer a threat to society? Isn't compassion the only real answer?

LOL. I like that.
I think they should make him watch tape of the team after MJ and Pippen left. That first year when they won 15 games or something of that nature. Just put him in a room. Keep him awake and watch the same thing over and over.
