Celtics have to jump on them early. We can't take anyone lightly. Besides I want to get our 60th win tonight.

Just got back from a 3-day suspension.

We would also tie the all-time NBA record for best single-season turnaround. And indeed, we cannot take them lightly. If they make the playoffs, they will play us, so this is a statement game. The same goes for Atlanta on April 12.

And we also must win against Washington, because we could face them in the East Semis, and we couldn't go into that series with 3 regular season losses to them.

So basically, this is the first of three games we have to give our all.

Besides, it might not be Celtics-Lakers, Celtics-76ers, or even Celtics-Nets but I remember those cheapshots from Tinsley in the playoffs and I want destruction and much wailing of their women and nashing of teeth.

Solid 1st quarter effort, only 3 things I did not like, first 3 good things

1. Perk and Leon Powe putting themselves in great position to receive passes for easy points.

2. We have had good ball movement this game.

3. Our Perimeter defense and close outs have been good.

What I did not like

1. Lack of agressivness by rondo, the pacers dont have anyone who can keep up with him he should be taking it to the hoop

2. Pierces shot selection after the first 4 minutes, nothing horrible but I think the way we have been moving the ball he should not have taken the last 2 3 point shots.

3. Interior D without fouling/giving up offensive board...we can do a much better job on both of these.

Wow Jim O'brien just dissed rondo.....Better make them pay rajon "Were ok with rondo in there becuase were just sagging off of him and its working like a zone" to paraphrase

The comments by Obie reminded me of just how much I don't miss him as coach. Everything he said talked about the three pointer.

just be happy in the fact that hell never win ANYTHING in this league, as long as he continues to think 3 like hes done his whole HC career.
outside of his team getting white-hot at the exact time you need them to(EC Finals Celts) he wont get out of the 1st round imo

Wow, we need to lose a couple of games for people to start posting on game threads again. How arrogant is that? ;)
