Just thought this was a nice juxtaposition of the job DA has done (and the owners) vs. a team in Cleveland that has had every opportunity in the world to build around LeBron, but has continually messed up their cap space and overpaid mediocre talent:

I think this has a little to do with the fact that the Cavs' owner is blind (literally) and Allred is deaf. Plus, I guess its good to have a deaf guy like Allred in the locker room just to put things in perspective for other players..and he had been leading the D-League in rebounds
Anyways, I echo the same sentiments. Old friend Dwayne Jones has also been logging minutes for the Cavs this season

Good. I like hearing about our former summer leaguers/D-Leaguers getting a chance in the NBA.

Weird thread.
1) The signing of the 15th man is rarely if ever some kind of microcosm for the way that the entire organisation is run.
2) Gordon Gund (the blind fella) sold the team ages ago.

^^^ Holy Cow does that guy have alot of posts?
And I do think Allred is a sign the Cavs management stinks - sorry. Isiah Thomas could surround Lebron with better talent - seriously. It's time for Stern to step in and start talking about how Cleveland will be better next year and get them a new GM.

Didn't they just make the finals a couple years ago? It can't be that bad, some things just haven't worked out for them, i.e. Larry Hughes, looked like a great pick-up, and he hasn't been the same since Washington. Going after Ben Wallace was stupid though, it's sad to say it but you can pretty much stick a fork in him at this point. Not great management, but to say Isiah could do a better job? FOR SHAME!! Lol, sorry just had to get in an Isiah jab, we hates the Isiahs's we does, trixy Piston.

I only have the last four numbers worth. I pulled some strings to get the "2" put on at the front. True story.

Oh I'm not saying that they don't suck. It's just that, I don't see how you can arrive at that conclusion based on the signing of Lance Allred.

Funny me, I thought Allred would have been more useful to the C's than Pollard. I thought we should have picked him up as our 15th.
