No big 3 tonight!!

Celtics All-Stars Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen will get tonight's game against the Bobcats off to get rest. Boston's magic number, combination of its wins and Detroit losses, is down to one to get homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs. Celtics coach Doc Rivers said that whether Garnett, Pierce or Allen play in remaining regular-season games will be decided on a game-to-game basis. Rivers not only would like to get the three All-Stars rest during the rest of the regular-season, but would also like to get his bench more minutes before the playoffs

well thats a nice slap in the face to CHA. . .
hopefully he holds em out NOW so they arent rusty goin into the playoffs

Might as well rest these guys...Detroit is doing it,after bieing WORN out vs, Clev last year--they are taking a different route that they did last year.

I guess this is fine so long as Doc gives them plenty of time to re-catch their groove.

They should play the last couple games of the season a la Manny for the Sox last year.

I wonder if we can hold J-Rich to under 50.

i like the resting them, but it would be....shall i say, stupid....to rest them the remainding games. we all hope doc knows what he's doing. he should give them some run the last few games. please dont screw it up.

i dont want to take the hawks lightly. lets sweep them so we can have a little rest waitin for cleveland & washington to go 6 or 7 games.

Bobcats are going to smoke us, and they we're all going to hear how our team would be nothing if the big 3 were to all go down. :D

This sucks for people in fantasy playoffs right now though. Luckily for me, I picked up leon powe a few days ago.

64-50 Celtics at halftime. Looks like some people will become homeless tonight thanks to your informed recommendation.

Doc Rivers just cost me $2,000 in my fantasy basketball league with this non-sense. At least let them pay 20 minutes a game, smh

Ouch. Without gerald wallace (who is nasty) the bobcats are absolutely horrible.

okafor is a very good player, richardson-the-brick-layer and felton are decent, but i'd rather have most other starting PG's and SG's in the league.

The rest of their team blows.

I made the mistake by betting the Play of the Year - Bobcats +9.5 points. Boy, what an expensive mistake... Who needs the big three?!?! Leon Powe for MVP of the league.

the bobcats want to lose and are missing a key player

the celtics still want to win and the young guys want to show their stuff

i don't see why you'd bet against them.

So this could be very good for us Wizards who are playing you guys Wed. If we get this win it should really help us play Cleveland in the first round. Yes!

That will teach you to gamble....if you cant stand to lose the cash (and you need to find an excuse), you shouldn't play!....
