Q-Rich clling out Celtics tonight

Post#1 » by BRIGGS » Sat Apr 12, 2008 3:12 am

Says Knicks are going to wipe the floor with the Celtics to show the fans they care after tonight's loss.
Knicks are going to play to try and blow the Celtics out of the water for impression.

I would not believe if the Celtics come to NY and lay down to hear NY chirp even if it means nothing. Q Rich has talked down the C's 3 times[ye back in his face] but hopefully the C will bring it--esecially after being called out again!

Dead serious--that is 3 times this season. On top of it Knicks giving away free food to all fans--they have been playing their vets heavy minutes to try to pick up some W's so they can claim momentum into next year.

I do hope the Celtics wax the floor with them--no way KG will let Q-Brick run his mouth like that and then watch the Knicks back it up.

My hope is C's by 30

More importantly: the team will have a reason to show up.

Atlanta is the most likely first round rival for the Celts, so tomorrow's should be a statement game. I assume Doc will play the starters 30-35 minutes each.

I still don't care about a game involving the Knicks.

I agree. Don't even play the big 3. Show them how much we care about the knicks.

Briggs, do you have a link by any chance? It's the only thing that's keeping me from falling off my chair laughing.

Q Richardson? Maybe if it was Sofocles Schortsianitis or Royal Ivey I'd care. But Q? I forgot he was even still in the league.

Well, the Knicks have to play hard at least 1 out of every 82 games, right? Monday could be the night.

This is what Q really wants. Who cares what this dope says. I agree with those who say don't even play PGA. Let the bench beat that crap team by 20, only to have Isiah fired immediately following. This team has much bigger, more important goals this year. The Knicks are just an after thought. As a matter a fact, if Danny could do it, he'd just give the pathetic Knicks the win and give the boys the day off. They can have the win. It makes no difference to this team right now. Only one thing does. Why risk injury? But, of course they have to play, which is unfortunate.

Quentin Richardson can say anything he wants, and it doesn't bother me. What concerns me, however, is that the Knicks try to play the game in a physically aggressive manner, and one of our guys gets injured as the result of a cheap flagrant foul. This thought crossed my mind last night, as I watched the Bucks game. If we can make it through the Knicks game without incident, I'll breathe a sigh of relief.

Don't play the big three. Everytime we're facing the Knicks I'm tensed because Isiah might order Mardy Collins to beat the crap out of some of our players to cause a riot.

What's not to like about an overweight bigmouth chucker shooting .398 for his career? Antoine Walker had his fans here too, no?
