Pollard is supposed to be the color commentor instead of Tommy for this game so that should be interesting.

Hawks didn't put Smoove at SF and Marvin at PF. That is fans and media doing that. Smoove does however guard just about every position on the floor though. Well Philips Arena is soldout. The fans came to see KG,Paul and Ray play together. Give them a good show. If the Hawks regulars have anything left. Maybe they will attempt to make this a game. They tend to get up for these kind of games at home. At least early on anyways.

Can you guys just tank this game for us? All Hawks fans want is a small taste of the playoffs, and we all know you're going to sweep us in the first round anyway.

One question, how much are you guys planning to play your starters? I know they have just been playing 20-25 minutes recently, but a lot of that seems to be because it's a blowout by the time they exit the game. If the game is close in the 4th, will Doc play them?

Paul Pierce wrote:"It's definitely a game you want to win," Pierce said about tonight's game against the Hawks, whose magic number is 2 to clinch the eighth and final Eastern Conference playoff seed. "You've got a team we've beaten two times already. To go down there and win a third game just to put it in their head that, 'Hey, this is a team we've got to see in the first round and it's not going to be easy. They beat us three times.' You know the psychological effect, especially for a team if you've beaten them three times."

I'm sure Doc agrees with this, and he'll play the starters their usual 30-35 minutes.

You will see the starters 20-25 minutes, we kinda want to win 65 games, if we werent on that path I would say tank it so you guys can make the playoffs, I like Horfords game. Good luck tonight and in the playoffs, the pacers can't keep this up youll be fine.

If I could pick Pollard to be paired up with Gorman for any game against any team, it'd be against the Hawks in Atlanta. This game has hilarious potential:

1) Atlanta usually has about 2,000 people at the games (probably changed this year since they're doing better)
2) Gorman, who almost never has a negative thing to say, is on the record calling the building/setup/atmosphere (or lack thereof) a "joke" (a couple years ago when they showed the band during free throws). Pollard's dry sense of humor really lends itself to places like this!
3) The band playing randomly in between awkward moments of silence between Mike/Scot.
4) The falsetto voice the PA guy uses when he bellows "for THREEEE!" (I'd pay money to hear Pollard imitate him)

I'm so pumped for this game, and it doesn't even involve playoff implications!

Potential first round match-up. Should be a good, hard fought game.

I like the Hawks, they are a fun team to watch. We have to make sure that the Hawks don't surprise us. So we need to slit their throats early. We can't just stand around and watch the blood gushing out either.

I hope the starters get regular minutes to show ATL what's up. I mean just try and kick the hell out of them. If they can hang, then they hang. So what.

I want the hawks to be afraid of the Celt's come playoff time. Paul for 50 would be nice

Just start the playoffs already! These games are useless!

We play no defense whatsoever. I have had enough of this, I am out.

OK guys, this was supposed to be a statement game. The only statement right now is Atlanta's.

If sprash was here, he would be saying "ship Thibodeau out to New York right now, this team is playing absolutely no defense!!!".
