Thoughts? If Boston brings their A game on OFFENSE, Boston takes the series in 5 or 6. You really can't stop LeBron, but you just have to keep it from being an 82-80 type of game like the Cavs have been able to do with Detroit the last 2 years in the playoffs. Cleveland will try to slow it down, rebound, and play solid defense...in hopes of it being a close game in the 4th quarter so LeBron can take things over.

Sweep 'em. Not even gonna be close.

I love Lebron as a player and I love the fact that he's sticking it to Wizards after they talked a bunch of ish before the series even started. That being said all that love goes out the window if we do end up facing these guys in the next round.

It's almost a gift having to play Cleveland instead of Washington in the 2nd round. Just hound Lebron with Posey, and hit him with double-teams. Make the Wally's, Big Z's, and Ben Wallace's beat you. I'm not scared of this Cleveland team at all.

The refs can only do so much. The Cavaliers are a brutally mediocre team in a terrible conference. They lose to anyone who is even remotely good.

The Cavs gave up more points than they scored in the regular season. There are at least 9 better teams in the West. LeBron is great and everything and will probably go on some crazy run but it just won't even be close to enough. LeBron can go ahead and drop 55 points, but the Cavs will still lose by 10 in every game at least.

We would have some series problems with Washington. The Cavs are the much easier matchup and we should run right through them. They're really mediocre, and LeBron won't do it alone against the best defensive team.

Why are you guys talking about the officials? You do know that the NBA would kill for the Celtics to reach the Finals...right? If anything I expect Boston to get the favorable calls.

Boston is pretty much a 3-man team. Rondo and Perkins are role players at best and the rest of the guys coming off the bench are old farts that are trying to ride the pine to a title. I think LeBron may have to take more of a defensive role in this one....LeBron has worked Pierce recently but I think he needs to step up on the defensive end. Garnett is tough, but Cleveland has some solid bigs that can bang, defend, and rebound.

Ray Allen will be the X factor.

You make some solid points, especially about James Posey, Tony Allen, Eddie House and Leon Powe. Holy ****, you mean they're all younger than Pierce, Allen and Garnett (except Posey is older than Pierce by a few months)? Rondo is better than Ray Allen and has been all season. Big Three is right, they just have the wrong Three.

Ben Wallace at PF means KG can roam the paint much more than usual and be more of a shot blocker.

The cavs were better with drew gooden.

This series is not finished yet.... next 2 games will be at Washington could probably go to 7 games... never underestimate both teams. One of them could be in 2nd round.

Bring those clowns on.

Please... Have you seen them in play-offs? Wizards are a mediocre team, who overachived in the regular season a lil bit and lucked out in their games with Boston. Period. If we played the Wiz in play-offs we would have swept them.

Cleveland is better with Gooden on offense, not on defense. I don't like the idea of Garnett going against Gooden in the post. Wallace is a much better defender.

Despite the season records, I don't think the Celtics would have as difficult a time with either the Wizards or the Cavs -- especially after watching these teams play the last two games. Maybe the toughest match-up would be the Wizards without Arenas but, ironically, the easiest match-up would be the Wizards with Arenas because they can't function as a team right now.

This is getting difficult for me because the further we get into the playoffs, the more and more satisfaction I am going to take sending the opposing team home. The Hawks I don't take much gratification in watching lose -- but I will enjoy watching LeBron lose, I will love watching the Pistons lose, and I would be ecstatic to send Phil Jackson and Kobe home for the summer.

But the flip side of all of this is, the further on we go, the more painful a Celtic loss will become.

I think the fans are overconfident, absolutely -- but if you think the Celtics are overconfident, or will take a game off, or be at any degree disinterested like the Pistons have been then I don't think you've been watching Boston.

KG wouldn't allow the Celtics to take a night off against any team in the playoffs -- which is why they'll sweep the Hawks.
