I told you guys we don't have anyone that can create their own shot. Pierce is half the player he use to be because he is so damn overweight. Without a screen, he can't get to the hole.
Pierce use to be what Joe Johnson is today. Its not because Pierce is old, its is because he is overweight.
We are gonna win this series, but I knew this **** would happen.

It's really just a **** of missed layups. Celtics don't usually miss 50 layups and shots in the paint in a game. I get that Josh Smith blocked a few shots, but c'mon. Odds on that sort of thing happening again?

doc ran his starters into the ground 3 games in a row. it doesn't help though when his bench gives him nothing. powe, house, cassell gave us nothing tonight. paul was set up for a good game but that fine and the crowd took him out of the game. he missed what 4-5 free throw plus a critical layup down the stretch. we'vce allowed thier shot blocking to get into our heads. there is NO way I thought we would lose after the 3rd qtr but it was a repeat of the end of the ist qtr/beginning of the second where we went ice cold. we're going to need more baskets in the paint if we want to win. doc ws brain dead to leave ray on joe johnson. tony allen or posey have to guard himn

Who in the heck are you?
The second-worst analyst of basketball. So I get to call you out for making reactionary posts. These are the rules.

true, we lost this game b/c we couldnt guard JJ, but once we started poundin the ball to PP, we lost it. Ray was ON FIRE & we refused to get him the ******* ball. pathetic. doc is HORRIBLE. i've never been on the "fire doc" bandwagon, but believe me, i'm a top member now. the guy doesnt know what to do half the time. pathetic...
we're not a lock to win this damn thing now. pathetic. we're WORSE than the mavs from last year if we lose this thing. don't come on here sayin i'm overreactin b/c we've been handled the past two games, we've been outhustled, outplayed, hell, even outcoached by a coach who might not even be back (now he will tho).
jus heartbreaking.

It ain't reactionary, bud. I talked about this during the regular season, even devoting two threads to the situation. I got blasted for it, buts it the truth. Go to youtube and check out Pierce from the 2005 playoffs. He was in shape, slim and could get to the hole at will. Now? He has to hook, use screens and use the offense has to manufacture his points. Remember the days of Pierce going to the line 10 times a night? Not anymore. He looks like he is running through mud to get the hole. And it is all because he is so damn overweight.
Go ahead, check out that 2005 series on youtube. You won't even recognize Pierce because he is so thin. He looks AT LEAST 20 pounds heavier since then. It ain't about age, its about conditioning.
But go ahead and blast me.

Here, I saved you all the work. Check out Pierce in 2005. You can't even recognize the guy. He is overweight, point blank, period.

Like clockwork, here is the latest Gonzo "I told you so" thread. Yawn.
Well, GL, I have noticed the same thing about Pierce. He hasn't been getting to the basket like he used to. He's having a good year overall, and has stepped it up defensively at times, but he's starting to look more like your avatar than he did a few years ago.

What kind of response are you trying to solicit with a post like that? Grow up.
Be careful Gonzo. That was a serious question. Do you really think I feel like scouring multiple thread about people complaining, defending, arguing? It makes our job much more difficult. Why not keep in on one place. The game ended and 5 new threads popped up. I'm as grown up as they come by the way.

Dude, you were antagonizing and you know it. It's not "crying".. if anything, its "complaining."
And now you are telling me to be careful. I knew it. Next time, choose your words better.
