Hawks in 6!

Post#1 » by Dick and Bush 2004 » Tue Apr 29, 2008 3:42 am

I am predicting this for the third time. maybe this thread will stay. as a reminder of how some here gave the hawks no chance.

I guess Nique wasn't as crazy as everyone thought when he said they matched up the best against boston at the end of the regular season

I wonder which team has the better coach? I dont see the Hawks winning 4 games in a row or another game until next season, what a fight though

Even if the Celtics do turn it around and win the series, if this is how they go against Atlanta it is likely that they will be in trouble in the next round against a much better team.

Not quite accurate. The Hawks are extremely athletic, not other team left compares, maybe the Magic.

Cavs took a notch back athletically with the acquisition of West and Szerbiak and even Ben Wallace.

They won't be as difficult to cover, though LBJ can win it by himself. The Wuz would be a very difficult matchup for the Celtc, Cavs, less so.

Wow I never thought we would be in the same boat here. Athletic teams are both of our downfalls. But at least you guys face the Cavs in the next round, who really aren't that athletic outside of James, so I think you guys will handle them just fine.

the hawks problem after the bibby trade wasn't the fact that they werent good enough. it was the fact that they were so inconsistent. when they try as hard as they are now, they're pretty good.

playing zone might be a good idea against the hawks. they have 2 rotation players that can actually shoot consistently.
