FIRE DOC TONIGHT 5/2/08

Post#1 » by Tricky Ricky » Sat May 3, 2008 3:01 am

After watching game 6 none of u can say hes a good coach in the playoffs, sure you can put the blame on the players but how are they supposed to play well with lineups theyve never played with in the season????

Fire Doc. I am on board. You can't havr your coach not be good. You can ruin the game more than you can help it.

Officals are bad too. Awful.

Seriously WTF. He plays an all bench lineup in a crucial period of time. He calls a timeout and draws a play for Ray to take a horrible 3 point attempt. This team is just a bunch of fakers as of right now.

We had probably the worst starting lineup opening the 4th quarter.

Paul was our only scoring option and we had slow defenders in PJ and Cassell.

Doc's trademark is 4th quarter collapses, he's coached young pups to 4th quarter collapses and now he's coaching a veteran team to TWO 4th quarter collapses in the playoffs.

He actually called a perfect play that would either get Ray a wide open 3 or KG a game tying layup. KG sets the pick, forces Horford to either jump out and cover Ray's 3 and once he does that, Ray dumps the ball off to Garnett for a layup. It was setup perfect, Ray just made the wrong decision with the ball and missed an open KG.

There are things Doc can be bashed about (PJ Brown in there to open up a huge 4th quarter???), but that play is definitely not one of them. He called a play that should've tied the game up if Ray made the right decision.

yeah, i suppose it's doc's fault that paul got fouled out on a BS call by crawford...that craphole has always had it out for us. what type of call is that when paul and zaza are on the baseline, and he's at half court!?!

and i suppose it's doc's fault that posey bit jj's fake, and jj converted in an incredible manner. you can't take anything away from the hawks guys, they don't give up.

anyways, good luck to the hawks coming to boston for a game 7...heh heh heh...

and, can someone please lock this crap? the series isn't even over yet, and the people who agree with this post are gonna look like total fools when we get beyond this tricky matchup and win it all.

What? Don`t tell me you didn`t like PJ at C at the start of the fourth!!!

That 4th quarter starting lineup was so bad I had to laugh when I saw it! I knew we were in trouble after seeing that!

Eh, Doc sucks? Wanna trade him for Woodson?
Anyway, that was a great game. On to game 7, and may the worse team win (i.e. the Hawks).

#1 - why is rondo bringing the ball up at the end?
#2 - why do the celtics go away from kg for the majority of the 4th?
#3 - ray clearly broke the play at the end and chucked up a 3 with nobody in position to rebound and 13 left in the game - that's not doc's fault.

dang man...the big 3 are choking this up big time...they can't handle atlanta's athleticism...

I don't mind the Ray Allen for 3 there at the end play call.

What I do mind is the lack of emphasis on guarding Josh Childress i.e. put a body on him and not Sam Cassell's body because it won't matter.

Childress won this game for the Hawks in the end while Marvin Williams won this game for the Hawks earlier on.

Our 4th quarter play sucks in close games and it starts at the top with Doc and followed by our poor PG play in the 4th quarter.

This is the only recationary thread I will reply to, because, well the other ones put down the players I like, and do not make sense.

This one though, this one sais it all, FIRE DOC!!!!

We could have tied it and he runs a play for the cold shooter ray allen. What the **** is wrong with him.

that wasn't the call. doc was confused after the shot and called out "RAY??!?!" after it. allen chucked it up like a psycho. nobody was down low ready to rebound, the shot caught everyone by surprise.

Again, the play was designed to get Ray Allen a wide open 3 or KG a layup if Horford commits to Ray. Horford did just that and KG was open for a layup, it's not Doc's fault Ray decided to take a contested 3 instead.

That was a very good play.

I don't care if I'm back seat modding ... this is unbelievably inappropriate.

I'm about to hop on the fire doc bandwagon, but that's despicable. Be ashamed.
