Rivers is an idiot!

We don`t score for almost 7 minutes, we look absolutely terrible offensively and what does Rivers do?

Absolutely nothing!

Yes we won but I still shake my head at the substiitutions. I thought PJ Brown did surprisingly well on Z but he didn't play the entire second half. I'm at a loss sometimes.

exactly, i thought PJ brown could play his biggest role in THIS series b/c he has the D fundamentals to hang with Z & he has the only size on the team to guard him. he needs more minutes.

7 mins w/o scoring...nothing. pathetic. take out cassell. bring KG back in....SA was playin horrible last night, & Pop took out their BIG 3 in order to get somethin going, & even that worked, YET Doc keeps in the bench when their strugglin for waaaay too long.

he may be the reason we dont win the title if we dont.

Other people would be saying, "WHY THE HELL IS PJ GETTING MINUTES? HE'S HORRIBLE!"

Let's face it - none of us are NBA coaches for a reason. We have no clue if Doc's doing a good job or not. All we can say is retrospectively whether or not the team did a good job, and if you want to attribute that to Doc, go for it. Personally, I admit to having no clue.

I want to add that everyone was complaining about Sam Cassell being in the game, and yet he was one of the big reasons we ended up winning. Nice call guys. Doc sure made a bad move, keeping Cassell in.

davis is on z because in one of the earlier matchups this season, davis played great against him, using his low center of gravity to keep him out of position in the post, and mess up the flow of z offense

Yea, but Z was on fire, and Powe had disrupted his shot before, as Davis had him opened a bunch of times. Z is a Celtic killer.

Z is a tough guard regardless, cuz he's a center that floats around on the perimeter. I think we did pretty damn well considering 2/3 of the big three scored like 2 points. Not to mention it was a close game that we won in the waning seconds of the 4th quarter.

And1 to what Joyeuse said. Do you Doc haters have any basketball knowledge that extends outside of watching it on TV? Oh no, I bet you pick up a lot at your rec league...

Those that can't play coach, those that don't have a clue about either one blame the coach.

Cassell is fools' gold. Everytime he is in, he walks it up. He looks for this shot all the time, and the offense grinds to a halt. When he is in, the offense loses all rhythm. Rondo scores 15 in the first half and he plays 6 minutes in the second half? Still makes no sense to me.

is it just me or was perk on z most of the game?

i know perk is a good defender but shouldn't kg be on z the whole game? or did i miss that? i don't think z has that much of a height advantage on kg, at least compared to perk. it just seems a waste to see kg on ben wallace

KG guarded everyone. He was on a string the whole game running up and down the box.

his biggest mistake was taking out a hot cassell and putting rondo in the game. our O quickly came to a halt and cleveland went in front. he put's sam back and presto chango we start scoring. Look, I'm as down on sam as anyone for his inability to create pace on the second unit but he won that game for us last night. no one else was hitting squat ( other than KG). anyuone know why rondo stopped attacking the hoop in the 2nd half? it looked like we were so concerned about getting pierce and allen off that what was working in the first half we just went away from
