this guy seems to constantly get rebounds and buckets when the team needs it the most and i love his turnaround

I used to be very critical of him but I'm slowly warming up to him. good game Perk!

as someone who has been on the kendrick perkins bandwagon since his first summer league...

I'll say it once and I'll say it out loud this guy is MENTALLY TOUGH. PErk can be counted on.

I've also been a Perk fan since day 1, it's great to see all his hard work starting to pay off. PERK!!!

He has been playing phenomenal basketball in the playoffs!

Perk really has come a long way since those two missed free throws that he missed against Indiana when he got picked off of the bench.

He'll be an all-star once or twice before he's done.

But it'll be one of those "Only because he's a center ..." kind of things.

Impossible to forget his facial expression when that happened. You could sense he was shaking all over in the inside.

Give Clifford ray alot of credit to for helping perk finally get it.

Perk is great when he actually shows up. He's starting to become more consistent finally, but he still has some off nights. His nights where he's on though, he is amazing! He plays great team defense, rebounds hard, scores when he has the opportunity, and makes some great blocks. On top of it he still has that "no easy layup" mentality, which is good when he's not in foul trouble.

I believe that I was dissed by comparing Perk's first seasons (as a high school NBAer to a certain Ben Wallace and was told repeatedly that he was too awkward, slow feet, no foul shot!, lousy touch, etc.....that despite his great hands, he'd never be a Ben Wallace.

I like him better than Ben at this point...

Kudos to Perk.. and he's only 23-24?? Wow...

I've been one of those Perk fans from the start too. The kid carries the biggest lunch pail in the league. You gotta love it and respect it--and be glad to see him getting a little recognition as well.

yeah perkins has really grown up, he's playing out of is mind as our man in the middle. remember it was only a few years ago when he was the wide eyed kid who slammed those free throws off the backboard in the pacers series, now he's regularly hitting foul shots and at times carrying us from the line like in game 6 of the atlanta series...

Dude. I know your gloating but he is still NOTHING like Ben Wallace who was an athlete in his day. Perkins still can barely get off the ground. He is more Luc Longley then Ben Wallace. Don't let the skin color fool you.

I agree Perk is still a work in progress. He's offensively (Please Use More Appropriate Word), but he is a pretty good rebounder and defender. That's his niche.
