Ray Allen is a big reason we were 66-16.

Ray came out at half time and missed 3 free throws and then a couple of three's in a row. And then all of a sudden he started to take 3's like 5 feet behind the line and didn't miss a shot after that. I had a feeling he was going to start to feel it in the second half and he ended up doing so.

It was really great to see.

I've been pimping Ray pretty hard on two different boards over the past couple days, so it's nice to see him getting some recognition. The guy is a damn good player, who many fans have a false perception of, for whatever reason.

The James Posey acquisition was huge for the Celts. Ray Ray hasn't played great lately, but Posey has been consistent off the bench. Posey's ability to defend and also shoot takes some pressure off Ray. The Celts need Ray to play better though if they are going to win a ring.

I never got the Ray Allen hate. The guy has really impressed me this season. He is so effective off the ball - and still great with it. What more could you want? He is a complete basketball player..

 You're signature is awesome.

Back to Jesus, it was great to see the old Ray. Hopefully that caries over to the next couple games and we can seal the deal in four games

Same here, and I agree. Ray will be fine now that he's out of his slump and back in rhythm. He's like Manny Ramirez. No matter how badly Manny is slumping, he doesn't care because he doesn't dwell on it...thus his slumps don't last long. Same with Ray.

Ray is every bit as important to getting a title as Pierce and KG.

Hear hear! And let's not forget that even when his shot's not falling--and I think his game 1 numbers seemed worse than they were because he only took four shots!--he does other things to help the team. They guy is a great player, a great leader, and a great guy.

Yeah Ray!

Ray's D in this series has been pretty damn good, in my opinion. Now that he seems to have shaken off his slump, watch out!

I'll take 16 points a game from Ray the rest of the series!!

Really, when you think about it, the offense ought to run through Ray against the Cavs (or KG) as Pierce gets swallowed by LBJ and he's pretty tough to shake.

Ray should be able to torch Wally all night long.

I saw the 2nd half as a game change by Doc that allowed Ray to get it going...

And let LeBron coast on defense? No way. I'd love Ray to shoot at least 15 times a game in this series, but our offense should run through KG and PP first because they have no answer for KG and LeBron should expend some energy while chasing PP around on D.

BTW, Go Ray Allen!
