I was unaware that the two of them had befriended the other. I was watching a highlight of an interview done between the two being shown during this game three of Boston versus Cleveland. That was touching how Russell said something to the effect that he would share a ring of his own with Garnett should he fail to ever win a ring in Boston. But, he would like to see, or believes he can, win two to three championships as a player for the Celtics. That was moving... I'm not a Garnett fan but I'm rooting for Pierce and Ray Allen and the Celtics as a team to win a championship for Boston.

That was deeply moving.

I wonder whether or not someone will post the interview in its entirety on Youtube or something.
