They got a good defensive ball club over there.

Ben Wallace, Lebron, Joe Smith, even Big Z can do some things to stop us.

And it is easy to defend 4 Celtics when Rondo is on the court.

Mmm they played incredible defense tonight. When there's a 20+ point blowout, it's almost always a combination of one team playing great and the other playing horribly.

What's that supposed to mean? He had one bad game. Way to overreact.

Rondo didn't cost us this game. He wasn't good but he was better than most of his teammates.

The Cavs have a good D but we seem to play with absolutely no energy on the road. every once in a while we have a spurt of energy where we actually push the ball, but then somebody from cleveland makes a shot and then the C's all start moping again.

What did Rondo do well exactly this game?

- Made 1 open jumper
- 1 turnover

Yeah...not so much.

He took more shots than Pierce and at one point more shots than every one of the Big 3.

He had no assists.

He had ONE rebound.

He basically didn't run the offense.

He was afraid to shoot the jumper.

He didn't guard anyone (he did try hard for the most part - which is the frightening part) and West totally outplayed him tonight.

With that said...I'm not down on Rondo.

He played a bad game and the C's in general played a bad game.

Cavs flat out NEEDED to win this one or they would have been down 0-3 so I'm going to chalk it up to one of those nights.

We all love Rondo here, but he sucked the life out of this team tonight with his lack of willingness to shoot the ball. And his defense on Delonte West was embarrassing. He hardly pressed Delonte who's not a good ballhandler and paid zero attention to him when Delonte was spotting up. For awhile I thought Rondo was returning the Rondo treatment to Delonte. What the hell?
