Well deserved. Now he can win another one next year by firing Doc and sending Cassell to hell.

I guess it doesn't mean anything if we don't reach the East Finals, at the very least.

Well, it was the one sure thing.
Congratulations to him for lots of brilliant, creative ideas and decisions in less than a year.
He totally earned this award.

If you can live with Doc next year you can live with playoff loses, you and I finally agree on one thing though and thats no more SAM!

Congrats, Danny! Well deserved!

Now, you just need to fire Doc and you will win another one next season!

As much I hate Doc, I can live with 20 more years of Doc than I can with 1 more game with Cassell. He's the worst thing that's happened to the Celtics this year.

No surprise here. Just an outstanding job done by Danny. Keep up the good work.

if sam goes I still want another back-up that can handle ball pressure.

I'm sure Darell Armstrong didn't have a fun season in NJ. Maybe he can be on call as our 3rd string PG next season.

Now tell us what you REALLY think...heh.

This news really shouldn't have come as a surprise, but I had a gut feeling Mitch Kupchak would steal it away (and it was closer than it should have been, with an 18 to 14 vote margin). Laker love has been running strong since the Pau Gasol for glorified 2nd-rounders giveaway.

Congrats Danny! Maybe it's a habit I've come down with over the last few years, but I still can't wait to see what happens on draft night...

That's typical, though...front-running fans and media swoon over the Lakers while ignoring everything else when things are going well in Lala land. But the C's were good all season and the Lakers only since the trade. So Danny had to win.
