Sam Cassell, 0-for-15 from the field since the second half of Game 2, may be about to have his minutes usurped by a player who has been buried on the bench: Eddie House. In the wake of Monday

So wait a minute are you saying a coaching decision can affect the game or what?

It's about **** time.
Even then, I don't trust Doc. Sam will force Doc to play him.

I've always quantified the relation as 20% coaching and 80% players. Nothing new here.

You know I was a big advocate of the Cassell move, but he's been killing the rhythm of the game every time he checks in. All I have to say is it's about time I've been waiting for this to happen since the frist round.

Halla-frickin-leuliah! I really think Danny/Wyc might be pressuring Doc to give Sam heavy minutes...otherwise Doc is dumber than I thought (and I am a Doc-defender!)

So, you are slowly changing your mind I see. From 0% to 20%? Impressive! Keep it up buddy!

Obviously some great news. I can't wait to see Delonte leaving Dr. House wide open numerous times.

Well, it's not a great news until Doc actually does it. I bet Cassell still forces Doc to play him. The only way for us to be sure is if he's deactivated.

Exactly. The players play...coaching is overrated in my book. Important, yes, but not the be-all-end-all.

silence does not qualify as an answer.
20-80. If that's true then I think you'll find most everyone agrees with you.

Lindsey Hunter showed that he can kill House when it comes to House trying to dribble the ball up across the half-court line. I wonder if Boobie or West can put similar pressure.
Hopefully Doc has put some consideration into this weakness more then just realizing wow I guess Sam isn't very much a team player.
I can't believe we have Pierce and Ray Allen on our team that Doc won't go to when their hot because this is a team game but he'll let Sam take games over. **** PGs

I'm absolutely shocked that a guy who was an integral part of the rotation and who helped us win 66 games finally gets to see some PT.
I mean, it's not like the Cavs (or the Hawks for that matter) have a great PG who can pressure House.
The fact that it took 5 road losses for Doc to realize this.

I'm not sure about this move. It's not that I've liked Cassell's play as a Celtic at all, I think he's sucked for the most part, but he has played pretty well at home--just absolutely ridiculously poor on the road. House confidence must be shot after being completely glued to the bench and he's not exactly great in a playoffs even when he has had his confidence: he's a career 34% shooter (23.5% from 3) in 33 playoff games.

Once again, here is another reason Doc is an idiot. He is always a step behind. I was calling for this move going 3 days ago, before game 4. I even started a tread. However, I wanted House to play on the road since Cassell was playing so poorly on the road.
This will be a bad decision now. Cassell has been playing well at home. it's on the road where he has struggled going 3-26 including the 1st round.
I repeat, Cassell should still play at home. Atleast in the 1st half. Then you take it from there. House should play on the road.
Maybe Doc and his coaching staff should look at the game films and stats. That way they can see that there is a night and day difference in Cassell's performance in home vs raod games. Where is Ainge. He should get involved because Doc is going to **** up again.
