FA's who would sign this off-season
Players who would realistically sign here, and would be nice role players. Basically, this off-season it's all about replacing Tony and Alien, maybe even get a strong backup C. Just a few names:
Chris Duhon
Jannero Pargo
C.J. Miles
Ira Newble
Quinton Ross
Louis Williams
Comments? More names?

Bonzi Wells
Mickael Pietrus
Tyronn Lue
obviously re sign Posey.
I'd also like to get House for another year
I would love Bonzi's talent, but from what I've heard about his character, it may make the Celtics think twice. Pietrus would probably be a nice addition.
Do you really think House will want to come back here? I would love it, but I'm not so sure he wants another year under Doc even if Cassell does not re-sign here. I think he will feel that his job is always in jeopardy without real reason behind it.

Jamison is going to get alot more then the mle..... probally double it actually.
We'll see. A lot of factors go into his decision.
How many teams are under the salary cap?, Does he want to play for a serious contender?, What is Was. going to do with Arenas? etc. Jamison is going to be 33 yrs old. How many teams are going to commit huge $ to a 33 yrs older?
Remember last year Rashard Lewis was offered the full MLE by the Rockets and the only other team to step up was Orlando.
The probability is probable very small but stranger things have happened. You never know.

Foster isn't a free agent after all, just checked. Jamison is clearly too expensive, but I think Diop is within the Celtics range if they want him.P2 wrote:I'd love to get Foster. Jamison and Diop will be too expensive.
Ricky Davis is an unrestricted free agent and could probably be had for the MLE by someone. Definitely wouldn't mind having Ricky back coming off the bench...we could use another scorer who can create for himself and doesn't rely on others to get them looks.

Nenad Krstic is a restricted free agent. 7 footer with quite a bit of skill, was on the verge of really breaking out until he tore up his knee last season. Wasn't the same this year, but considering that his potential is significantly higher than basically everyone you can get with the mid-level, would you (or Danny/Wyc?) take the risk of giving a guy who hasn't proven he's the same player $5Mish per year? And would the Nets match, for that matter?
