Hate to see it but he scared me. Gibson is one of those guys that can nail 6-7 3pt shots in a hurry. Good break for the Celtics.

a guy who can hit 4 or 5 shots as well, & who is 10x more annoying & obnoxious is damon jones. Lord, please dont let him hit a shot!

Yeah, same here. He almost single-handedly killed the Pistons in one game last year.

Looks like I was right. I posted this this morning in the Cigar Award thread:

I was at the game and when I first saw it happen, looked like a separated AC (shoulder) joint. I've done that twice (both shoulders) and it was almost he exact same reaction as Gibson had. I heard on ESPN they are calling it a shoulder contusion but it looked more serious than that.

If it's a 1st degree it will probably take a month before he feels normal again. He might be able to play in two weeks but he probably won't be that effective. It's ok though, the Cav's won't be playing in two weeks anyway.

West can hanlde the extra minutes. this takes a good weapon from CLE but they have small ones as replacements.

As old as Cassell is, he can be kept in check by Snow. Brown can do an okay job in backup as well. And Damon Jones won't play unless House is our new back-up PG... because I think Cassell can at least draw one foul on Jones.

What this does do is make sure West is going to play somewhere around 42 mintues per game for the next two games. He can get it done, but he could also struggle at somepoint..say away from home in a game 7 possibly.. this could be a lucky break.

Glad to hear it's not serious for Boobie but also glad to hear it will take longer then a week :) Just in case I wouldn't want Gibson to not be around for a Piston showdown!

Too bad for the Cavs, it sucks when your players get injured, especially in the postseason.

Damon Jones... Now there is a guy Sam might be able to stay in front of... but then probably not.

Let's hope Eddie plays instead of Sam....maybe Baby's play last night opened Doc's eyes to using the bench--but NOT Cassell.
