You all dont have a post game and it is killing yall..KG posting up in the short corner to shoot jump shots wont cut it.
Yall need an inside beast.. Dont believe me? how many times has K.G. tried to post up and got his stuff swatted out of there??
Yall better be lucky game 7 is at home.. I feel you all will win..But If you want to go to the Championship, you all will have to beat Detroit on the road. Because they are going to win one of the 1st two in boston..(and no I am not a detroit fan)

Post game... Al Jefferson... /cries.
On the other point I agree. I think if we somehow pull out this series we're actually going to need to win on the road. No way, IMO, we sweep Detroit those first two games after a grinding 7 game series. In fact, we might even drop two. We were really luck to win game 1 of this series. First things first though, there is a really good chance we don't win this series at all.

I am a neutral party ....who really would like Boston to pull this out...But from the start, I have felt that Cleveland has a better chance of winning in Boston than Boston in Cleveland..
Just dont do like Flip Sanders did against Lebron last year in the playoffs. if he start to get hot DOUBLE TEAM HIM.. Dont let the team ego get in the way and try to prove a point...or somebody will be going fishing and it wont be lebron.

I also posted about this about a week ago. He have become a weak, soft jump shooting team.
The lack of inside game and the inability to get to the line is what is wrong with this team. Not to mention our coach can be out coached by any kid in grade school in the country in any series.
There is a less than 5% chance of us winning a championship this year, IMO with this type of play. Actually I'm being kind of nice.

A post presence sure would make things easier for the Celtics, but the good thing is that of all the teams left in the playoffs, no team has a legitimate post presence, so no one team really has that advantage over the Celtics. Phoenix and Orlando were the teams with post presence and neither is still playing.

I dont expect the celts to win it this year, but they should make it to conference finals just based on this teams talent. losing to detroit wouldnt upset me, they have been there 6 times in a row!
its alot to ask of a team thats been together one year. do I think they could win the championship if things change ? dang right! if ray allen and paul pierce wake out of their coma, things change alot.
but I dont see it happening. something is wrong with ray allen and who knows where PP is.

on the road, yes.
at home has been a much different story. if the celts can play on the road like they do at home things change.
one road win is all it takes to get this team some confidence. if they make it to the next round hopefully they can. I know boston can win in detroit.

Detroit doesn't have a low post big man or superstar like KG and they've been to the ECF 6X in a row. Ad Big Z just does turn around jumpers and mid-range jumpers like KG does....

Gasol and Duncan aren't post presences? I could buy lumping David West in as a KG type.
I agree with pretty much everything in this thread though. The offseason priority has got to be throwing the MLE at basically any big man with inside offense.
Heck, how about Ray Allen for Zach Randolph?

Gasol it's not a post player, he's like KG.

Gasol is a post presence hands down. Every team left has a player they can go to in the post. Sheed, Duncan, Garnett, Gasol, and West. West prefers the mid range shot, but he can play down low. Gasol and Duncan make their living in the post. Sheed has an incredible post game, but has a tendency to play outside. And in my opinion, no in the league besides Duncan has a better post game then Garnett. Garnett just isn't assertive enough.

Maybe I think of Gasol as a post player since he always seems to be getting easy buckets inside on dumpoffs from Kobe.
