Ray vs. Delonte

Post#1 » by Jimmy103 » Sun May 18, 2008 9:42 pm

I wouldn't undo the trade even if I could...BUT

If Delonte and Ray switched teams for this series, the C's would have won in 5 games, true?

Some haters are so used to hating, so repetitive in their agenda, they're failing to realize that he's pretty good in his role for that team.

I'd still rather have Ray, because I think he will get out of this slump, and we'll be better off for it... but West isn't look too bad on the Cavs.

Delonte's shown he's serviceable, he's a competitor, and he's in the absolutely perfect situation for him. Poor ol' Ray looks like he's ready for the glue factory. Who knew PJ would have so much more left in the tank than Ray?

Yes, it would have been convenient if KG had come here without needing to see the Ray signing first, but so it was. Now let's see how Detroit defends the C's and if Ray can get back on track against them. (Cause it really would be nice to have him at least functional if they make it to the finals.)

delonte is good, but ray just being out there keeps defenses honest

Delonte missed the game tying 3. Ray hit both free throws when needed. Would rather have Ray!!!

Let's hope he can get back on track for the pistons series.

Delonte had a good series - he was very scrappy and confident. Still I am not sure I would trade Ray Allen for him. :P Eddie House is a nifty scrappy player as well. Its not hard to find that kind of player..

Ray hasn't been himself. Perhaps those clutch free throws can break him out of it.

We wouldn't be in this position if we had West over Allen. Simple as that. West could not average what Allen did over the season.

Look forward to the ECF and forget this non-sense.

I am not worried about Delonte. He played like an angry man.

Well, for what it's worth, Lebron missed a 5 footer at the end too... and I'd still trade him for Ray, lol.
