seein how its the playoffs and all, i figure just a thread dedicated to non-C's nba stuff.
that and i didnt wanna make a thread just about the Nets, but that was my main reason. anyone else see that deal that was supposedly being discussed?? something like:
R. Jefferson
M. Williams
Boone
Van Horn
1st
-for-
Carmelo
Camby
i would be PISSED, thats 2 of my favorite on a division rival(Camby, SWill). id learn to hate them in their time there. but still, that would suck.
and who you guys think is goin no.1?? i know tonight(lotto) will determine a lot, but who is "it" for you?? im not that sold on either for some reason, but you gotta go Rose#1. all you have to do is look at the Bogut draft

Yeah for the draft what makes sense is:
Memphis/Miami #1 - Beasley
NY #2 - Rose
In terms of that Jersey deal, I think that's a steal and they should pull the trigger. The C's would still own them anyway.

I don't really think it's a one sided deal. Camby is old, historically injury prone and somewhat overrated, he is a great help defender but not a great man defender and he is a bit of a stat padder (fights teamates for rebounds, takes unnecessary shots, etc). Melo is obviously better than RJ, but how much so? Melo is a great scorer and rebounder but isn't that good at much else. RJ is pretty much a poor man's Melo. Meanwhile, Denver is also getting a lotto pick (most likely top 10), a good young big, a talented PG prospect and they clear up a lot of cap space.

which one? because its been reported that Marcus would be shipping out. just imagine the blocks a Camby and S.Williams would accumulate?? nobody would be going to the rim with them 2 on the court
