Billups v Allen

Post#1 » by LongTimeFan » Wed May 21, 2008 11:38 am

I think on the injury tea leaves Billups looked a lot worse than Allen.

It does seem something is bothering Ray's shot. Maybe his ankles have flaired up like earlier in the year. But besides his shot he's been playing well.

Billups wasn't in the ballpark of keeping up with Rondo. Billups offense was almost non-existent. Many times he couldn't keep up with the pace of the game. Now maybe he had a lot of rust and will have worked himself back into game shape by Thursday. But maybe the game aggravated the hamstring.

Detroit with a comprimised Billups we might win in five, giving Allen a few days to rest his ankles. Thursday's game should be telling. Let's hope at least our guy is healthy.

Well, Ray makes up for it with floor spacing, passing and defense. But I really don't get why he misses those wide-open shots.
