Whatever happened to....

the old days when people used to wait overnight, in the rain and cold weather, waiting to purchase tickets?
The answer is the celtics organization stopped it.
I don't know if anybody else saw this, abc's local news did a story on how all these die-hards were waiting to get celtics game 1 tickets. And what the organization did was they passed out raffle tickets and did a raffle. Is it just me, or is that complete bullsh*t?? I mean, it just gives rich **** bandwagon fans another great chance to get seats. You wouldn't see a suit waiting in line overnight, but you could see him stroll up to the window when they are handing out raffle tickets, and win.
Just like the bulls and the lottery, this is bullsh*t in my opinion. If the celtics were to make the finals, I would have definitely waited overnight to get tickets. But now, I am forced to overspend on stub hub.
Shame on Celtics Organization for taking the die-hards out of the ticket race.
