I'm not worried / Climbing the three hills

Post#1 » by nightstarstolen » Fri May 23, 2008 5:46 pm

Celtics will win Green 17 this year. I am certain, and never had a doubt or worry in my mind during the first two series or against Detroit...

Hills we have had to conquer:
Hill 1:Athleticism - Atlanta
Hill 2:Super Star - Cleveland
Hill 3:Experience - Detroit

--- Each team presented us with a new challenge. It took us time to adapt. However, lack of experience is hard to over come.

--- We have not seen what the Celtics are capable off with their backs to the wall as of yet. KG will only go down screaming, pounding, and biting.

--- Perkins, Rondo, haven't had play off experience. Part of the reason that we started of slow on the road.

--- We were close to taking game 4 in Cleveland, and in just about every Atlanta game

Except for the blowout loss in Cleveland, we've been in all the road games even with our poor play. All we have to do is play OUR game and we win at least one on the road!
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

we got blown out in ATL as well.

But this is just as much a concern for most of our road games. We haven't been fighting to the end only to loose with being one step behind.... we've been completly outplayed in the fourth quarter where we couldn't score and someone on the opposing team. When it came down to execution on the road, ATL outplayed us, CLE outplayed us.

The positive trend though, I think at least, is that we are getting better. We're showed up more in the fourths against CLE then we did ATL. Maybe with Ray back we can put a mostly complete game together on the road against DET!
