Playoff Records For the Remaining 4 Teams

Post#1 » by return2glory » Fri May 23, 2008 7:20 pm

So far the Lakers are the best team in the playoffs with an amazing 9-2 record.

Here are the records for all 4 teams.

1. Lakers 9-2
2. Pistons 9-4
3. Spurs 8-6
4. Celtics 9-7

The Lakers are the best team right now. They should be considered the favorites to with it all. :nonono:

We are clearly the under dogs to win it all.

good point.

I personally didnt think we would win it all this year. we did well this year for a team together for the first year. you know you are doing something right if a first year team is already hated by fans all over the NBA. :)

as much as I want to, I dont want to get my hopes up. losing game 2 really killed me and ripped my heart out. :(

I know alot of people cal names on others cause they give up on a team but I just plain and simple dont want to get my hopes up. I know its possible but losing game 2 was worse than the pats superbowl loss. to me anyway.

I have been watching since the year before bird came. I can prob count on one hand how many games I have missed watching since then. I am a true fan.

but to lose home court and being in the game the whole time, I was just waiting for us to take the lead and it killed me we couldnt get over that hump last night. I didnt think the celtics would give up a game at home. they were just too good at home.

I cant even read the paper today or anything headlines about the game. that was bad lastnight and the guys didnt even look like they thought the game was important.

its only their first year together. when they lose it truly ruins my night and the rest of the whole next day. it was just really disappointing.

Couldn't have said it better myself, but I think we have a shot as long as we do what we did to win all those regular season games and the bench does its job unlike in game 2

Bru, the pats loss was much worse. they had a chance of making history. Going down as the single greatest team ever. This team doesn't have that chance. They have steal one in DET. I prefer the first one for my own anxiety levels.

I hope things change on the road. I cant wait for the next game, thats the only thing that gets me out of the dumps, knowing the next game is soon. its like a drug fix.

I really hope the celtics turn it around on the road. detriot has given up a home game so there is hope. although I dont think it will happen till the 6th game, but who knows how bad billups is hurt. he is key to that team. without him they dont have a chance.

You guys have homecourt advantage and the best record of the regular season. No way you guys are underdogs. It was just 1 loss to Detroit and the series is only tied. Celtics arent just going to roll over and die in Detroit, they won there twice already. You guys are fine.

as much as I love football, and I do........

I was one who wasnt devistated. we were beat by a better defense and offensive line. we have already won 3 titles so it wasnt a big deal to me they lost. they are still the team to beat this year.

its been a long time since we (celtics) won a championship so to see them lose home court hurt worse to me. I guess I love basketall more than football and thats saying alot cause I really love football. but basketball was my first love. :)

I remember sitting in my grandfathers chair eating cheese its and drinking OJ. ya, I think back and wondered why I liked that combo. watching the game and having my combo was good times as a kid.

personally I think the celtics are underachieving. with this talent, they should be murdering teams. I guess I expect too much from them, but this team has shown it can destroy other teams.

losing at home crushed me. detroit better hope they shoot lights out again cause the celtics will be out for blood tomorrow night.
