Who gets the Cigar in tonights huge huge huge win? KG who had the best overall game, Perk who really came through, Posey with his timley contributions. Alan, Rondo? Who gets it
I go for KG he is the only one of the big 3 who had a good game. Perk in a strong 2nd place showing.

Note to all fans preaching doom and gloom after our first home loss:
For the love of god have a little faith, and lighten up. This is supposed to be fun.
Voting for Perk. He was key in stopping Detroit's momentum on a couple of occasions.

Watched the whole thing from start to finish.
KG ended the fourth quarter a little shaky, but i'm still giving the victory cigar to him tonight.
Shout out to Rondo for making shots and Perk who was just great all around, have to give him a mini cigar.

i think that home loss gave us a sense of urgency that we need to win on the road to get that ring.
kg was great and was so assertive. he's unstoppable one-on-one.
22-13-6 is just clean.

Perkins hands down. He was amazing tonight. His effort was off the charts, he was the only one to give 100% the entire game. He rebounded like a monster and when he wasn't getting the boards he was boxing out. He was almost perfect from the field. His defense was absolutely phenominal, we couldn't have won the game without Perk tonight.

he played the whole 4th against a small, scrappy pistons line up. doc didn't make the adjustment and didn't give kg a much needed rest so i understand the him being shaky. and besides, we had a nice lead.

Ok, I see two other people in the thread picking Perk, yet I'm the only one who has given Perk an official vote. What's up with that?

KG for sure.
No matter how well Perk played, KG was the man tonight.

I wonder how shaky our ending would have been if we didn't adjust to DET and keep our rebounder Perk or even Powe in there. Red said he used to sub players in the last half of the 4th specifically because they could rebound and keep posessions and I think we were seeing that tonight.
KG and Pierce were having trouble against the doubles late in the fourth. I think we needed one tall Big around the basket to catch the off ball rotation for layups.
That said it is what it is and we didn't soundly shut the door and the buck stops with the Big 2.
I'm given this one to Tim Duncan...erhmn I mean Perkins.

I didn't see much of this game. Only the end when the pistons were coming back. But from what I saw in the box score, I am going with KG. Had a great game.
Big ups to perk though!!

Gotta give it to KG. He led the team in points, rebounds and tied for assists. Nobody on the Pistons can stop him. I think that KG getting into foul trouble early might have been to our benefit. You don't want to play KG over 35 minutes because anything over that, he seems to run out of gas. I like it when Doc takes him out early in the first quarter and gives him a nice 6-7 minute rest. He comes back energized and usually leads us on a run.
And Perk deserves a lot of props today too. The Celtics made a concerted effort to get him a few easy buckets early and that really got him going on both ends of the floor. These are the type of games where I question how people don't think that Perk is a starting quality center in the league. He is inconsistent, but you have to remember that he is almost the same age as Rondo and even though he has been in the league for a few years, he hasn't really gotten that many minutes due to not playing that much the 1st 2 years and having injury problems the next 2 years. If he can get the jumper going next year, look out!

KG.
Set the tone, passed it, took it to the rim, played defense.

Regardless of stats, the team really suffered when KG was out of the game. Perk had a great performance, but there is no victory cigar today if KG didn't play the way he did.
