Could Thibodeau return to Boston's bench next season?

I hope so. Because all of the players who matter (Garnett, Pierce, Perkins, Posey, Rondo) for him to employ the kind of defense to work will still be under contract for next season. I'm curious to know where the owners would place Thibodeau on their "things to do list" this summer. Word is already out that Rivers is in line for yet another contract extension. The first being the additional one-year he'd received prior to this season to prevent him from being, as he'd said, a lame duck head coach.

It seems more and more likely that Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau will be back in Boston next season. The Knicks, Mavericks, and Bobcats didn't ask for permission to speak to him before hiring their new coaches, and the Suns and Bulls have yet to ask for permission, as well. Boston Globe

I damn well hope so.
The deeper we go in the offs, the more likely he stays, because teams won't wait to interview him that long.
